The project is located in Sestao, a small industrial location near Bilbao, Spain. The program  needed a rowing club ("TRAINERAS"  is called the local modality, very popular and traditional), spaces for training aquatic sports and also public spaces for the city, that has been for decades surrounded by all the big industry and in some ways drowned by this huge instalations and buildings.​
